Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) share some important noticed that there will be an power outage in Ashant South Region. This happened due to fault in their network.
They published on their X post Monday 13th April 2026, they stated that the affected areas is: KNUST SHS, Nana Adoma Hostel, Crystal Hostel, KNUST Campus and surrounding area.
Acrra East Region will be facing the same issue due to maintenance to improve their service delivery and it caused temporary outage.
Affected areas: Part of Nmaidzor, School Junction and surrounding areas.
The due date is Thursday 16th April 2026, time 9am to 5pm.
Wednesday 15th April 2026, time 9am to 5pm, affected areas are Part of Adjiringanor and surrounding areas will be facing maintenance.
They also informed the Accra western region they will be power outage due to fault in their network the affected areas will be: Swanlake, Masallachi, Israel Park down, Dumpong, Mariakrom, Oboadeka, Yawdoudu, Aburi-Amanfrom, and surrounding area.
